JackAndy, When you have a chance I would recommend reading the article on PTSD by Anthony. There are many misconception's about the illness.
I read his article. It was very helpful in explaining some things that I didn't understand before. I feel like that adds some clairity and I really liked the part where he said that only 6% of PTSD sufferers get no relief from treatment. So it sounds highly treatable and manageable.
The mycomatptsd forum isn't going so well. It seems like some angry guys on there?
This is the point you ass, This SITE and all that it entails belongs to a very special club of men and women. Those that have SERVED in COMBAT and have PTSD related to that combat. We patrol the streets with rabid attitudes towards trespassers like YOU. You can obviously read and you know you don't belong in here from the first second you tried to join. If this site was for anyone with ptsd we would welcome you and throw open our arms to you. But its exclusive for a reason. We don't play well with others and we don't like it at all when someone who does not belong tries to barge in.
The real question is this, Why would you join knowing that this is a combat ptsd only site? Why not go troll elsewhere unless you only had the intent to stir the pot and cause grief? For that I find you guilty and a complete turd. Go away and don't bother us anymore, your not welcome here.
Not much help there, seems like 99% of the rest of the Internet.
