Boys Toys

Bless him. My darling hubby has some new toys.

Today he has bought.
A new lawnmower.
A leaf blower/sucker/shredder thing.
A jet wash.
And to keep everything safe, a garden shed.

Now he needs the weather to improve so he can play.

Some women are banned from the mall. I'm banned from going into the Lawn and Garden dept. of any store because I keep getting more toys. I've got it bad!

Joking aside, I hope he gets the weather for it this year, we didn't get much last year! Just think, when we come over he and my H can discuss their 'toys' while we polish off all the wine! :D

I have a lovely rose bush. A friend bought it for me for my 50th birthday. It is called 'For you with Love'.

By then our sun room will be habitable. Whatever the weather the 'boys' can retire and admire the shed and we can drink wine in comfort.

How is your hubby at shed building? That would be a good day. We could drink wine and watch them put the shed together. It will be like watching the Chuckle Brothers :hilarious:

My uncle bought one of those ride on it mowers. He was so thrilled with his new toy that even after he'd finished mowing, he had to ride it round and round in the yard. The lady next door finally came out and held up a sign that said "DON'T KILL ME!" by the side of their yards. My aunt just stood there and shook her head. I think he almost ran the thing out of gas before he finally stopped.

A few years ago I had Sears deliver to me their biggest lawn tractor. That thing was a beast. However, anytime I went to the bottom of a hill, the angle was such that I would come up out of the seat, and it would cut off. They came out and we attached 50 lbs of weights to the back of the seat, and I still couldn't hold it down, and I'm not a super small woman. We didn't want to completely bypass the safety mechanism in case I rolled it, so I had to exchange it for a smaller model :( I miss that monster. Argghh Argghh Argghh!
