Happiness Challenge Round 2 May 7th

Day 6 - April 29th1.
1. Three new things you are grateful for today : My printer is working, it's a beautifully warm day, had an ice cream cone
2. Journal about a positive experience in the last 24 hours : seeing a 2 day old baby, life is so precious at all ages
3. Exercise : yes, longer walk
4. Meditation : started but fell asleep :angelic:
5. A random act of kindness : didn't make a fuss when a handicapped person cut in front off me getting off the bus
 
I did all 5 yesterday, so I'm back on the band wagon too.

My random act was not to get upset when the bus driver was 30 mins late. Instead, I just gladly paced back and forth along the front of the building where I was waiting for him and that turned out to be my exercise for the day. Then I talked with the driver all the way home, while he dropped off a bunch of other folks and picked some up too. We had a great ol' happy time. Our buses are van sized and go door to door, living way out in the mountains as we do, so other folks joined in the conversation too.
 
Oh it's a beautiful morning! I am having a me day.

Time to reflect on Stage 2 and where to refine! Have you checked your Happiness Today. I have realized Music is missing in my daily happiness.

I finally got my sound system set up properly. The little things in life we forget can bring so much pleasure. Listen to the music that moves you. Crank it up and do the happy dance. Even laughter burns calories. Smile it is contagious.

Step out a wee bit and say Hi to a stranger. The return expression is usually priceless.

Everyday I am grateful for newness.

Day 7 April 30th
1. Three new things you are grateful for today : Had my appartement cleaned up by home aide, finished my daughter's scarf and managed to control the pain
2. Journal about a positive experience in the last 24 hours : Another person questionned and informed themselves on my research on Angels.
3. Exercise :No, pain got the best of me
4. Meditation : fell asleep again !
5. A random act of kindness : printed out information on the person's gardien angels and gave her some references to read up on.
