Frozen -- The Movie

Husband and I went to see Disney's Frozen last week. It was the first time I stood in line to see a movie. I was really impressed. It's not the best film ever but I really enjoyed it themes. Family, loyalty etc. It's based on Hans Christan Anderson's "The Snow Queen".

Also the sister Else reminded me of mental illness, becasue like her powers and how she wants to hide them, reminds me of how mental illness is also hidden. The first trailer shows that while the 2nd doesn't...actually the 2nd (the one below) confuses me becasue it paints Else as bad while in the movie she wasn't at all, just scared.

I really enjoy the theme that reminded me so much of mental illness. It really clicked with me and really made me glow with pleasure. :)

I am going to buy this the minute it comes out on Blue-ray. :D

I took my son. It had a lot of great one liners and a deep meaning. So glad I went! Music was, as usual, very Disney wonderful.

I think it's interesting that people can have such different reactions to the same thing:

I cried for the first half hour of that movie and slid into a depression. I liked the rest of the movie though.

During the film in the movie theater...when Price Hans showed his true colors, a man in the theater audience said "I knew it." pretty loudly. :laugh:
