Looking down at my stomach fat

I have that as well and I think that no amount of exercise will sort it. I'm angry at myself for letting myself get to this stage.

@KP the nut Are taking medications KP? Sometimes they slow the metabolism and increase our appetites.

I rattle at times :rolleyes:. I have an underactive thyroid and take 200mcg thyroxine. It has just been increased and I am due a blood test.

I'm pissed that I've been undermined for so long. I could have been happy, healthy and recovering much faster if it wasn't for those pricks.

I'm so glad that they're gone.

Ah that makes it tricky. I gained a lot of weight under certain medications.

That my cold is dragging on. Today I thought my cough was sounding better and then I went into a coughing fit. I woke with my nose cleared, and, by the time coffee was made, I was congested. How freaking irritating. Just go away.

@Ms Spock, one year I had an accident just before I left my house to go to an Irish festival. I ended up having to use a wheelchair there. I was dismayed by the rudeness of people when I tried to get closer to look at things and how hard it was to get around. It was quite an eye opener. Now, I look at everything and wonder how disabled people can get through. I have a couple family members who are disabled and people have been really rude to them. I just don't get it.

People on the whole were very helpful. I went and told the parking guys that a women in a wheelchair was coming and needed one of the disabled spots. They were most helpful. I primed then for quick access so that it went smoothly. The lack of access was not easy, and my friend, who is overtired, had a low distress tolerance day as well. She and her elderly Aunt bickered a bit. It was a bit stressful to be around.

I will write a letter saying that whilst the attitude of the people was excellent. It all fell down a bit on the practical side of things. But I will list in detail all the things that they got right. Then I will make a short list of how things could be improved for next year and I will offer my assistance in that area.
