@intothelight - I don't know how old Molly is or how long you've had her, but her being . . . when you look at those eyes, they just say 'I am full of love, I'm intelligent, I can get real intent on doing something when you want me to, so tell me . . . tell me what you'd like and I'll do it because I love you' That unconditional love is what gets us! I just want to reach out through cyber space and give the both of you a big hug!

Trying to figure out how to get the mats out without cutting them

Max is the same and we resort to cutting the worst ones out. Being a bloke he doesn't mind, but a girls 'do' is important to her:cool:.

Hubby is struggling big style at the moment, the main reason is because out cat is getting worse.

She has been his constant companion, sitting with him for hours and hours, even sleeping with him when he was at his worst.

He is shutting himself in the garage, so he does not have to see her struggling. He has just gone out for the third night in a row.

We will take her to the vets sometime this week, listen to what they say, then make a decision from there.

It will devastate him, but we cannot let her suffer.

I am looking forward to the day when I can take Buddy for a walk. I'm sure, positive, she would enjoy it. She walks, sometimes, with my husband now. She isn't very good on the leash, but that isn't her fault. That's ours. Once I get to the point I can walk her again, I can train her with the proper manners of leash walking.

I had to keep our cat in the bedroom while I was gone today. When I came home she had made a very nice bed for herself out of my bath robe.

I noticed I am not doing well today, so, instead of laying at the other end of the couch, Buddy lies right next to me. As if to remind me she is here.
