Sure enough, I went upstairs and he followed me to bed and curled right up. Silly Sparkles cat. :)

I made the dogs an egg for breakfast...to go with their normal breakfast. I never do that. I don't even make eggs for my children. No faith in my egg making abilities. But the dogs were happy, despite my broken yolk. lol ;)

Here's something really gross. Our one cat, Raiden, has the ability to squirt mucous from his rear. It is horrible and really smelly. I've never had a cat do that. Apparently he sprayed my husband when he got home, so he is running to change his clothes quickly. It has become a humorous joke around here and we call it butt juice. It is soooo disgusting!

Sparkles had to have another allergy shot. He was not thrilled about going out and he let everyone know within earshot that he was not okay with it. Thing is, it is getting raw again and nearly infected, where he scratching and licking. I wish he wouldn't do that, but I know he can't help it. If I put my hand there to stop him from licking he will vigorously lick my hand. I feel bad for the critter. I have to keep an eye on the area to make sure it doesn't get infected. They are concerned it might. Though the doctor did say, he thinks with the allergy shot, that that area will heal. Let's hope so.

Buddy is crying, she's my terrier mix, because my husband is sleeping in. She just does not like it. She's been fed, let out, water, but she wants my husband up! She's following him around now, wagging her tail, because he got up after she yipped a couple times. Crack me up. Silly girl.

Honey is scheduled for surgery on Monday morning for a cruciate ligament repair. The vet thinks she tore the ligament as well as some cartilage. It's been stressful to try to decide what's best for her because she seems fine now!

I brought her in on Wednesday for pre-op blood work and the man who took her blood told me that no one had to hold her as he drew the blood – she didn't blink at all, just looked him straight in the eye and lifted her head a little as if to tell him it was okay. He was touched and said it is very unusual for a dog to act that way. He also said because of that, she is likely the type of dog you could run over with a concrete truck and she wouldn't show it. She is tough... but so sweet. Hoping everything goes smoothly and that she magically changes her mind about resting 'cause she'll be doing a lot of it for awhile!
