I decided to start this thread for ones on here that are like me. That don't have faith in their success.

The challenge is to write stuff you are good at, to write what you like to do, to appericiate yourself for what you can.

I am afraid to start, but I will be the second one to post.

I am really good at mathematics and physics. I sing well and have a huge tone range (2.5 octaves for now). I am good at protecting myself aganist bladed weapons (pulling best from bad experience). I am good at learning languages.

That would be me.

I think the stuff I am best at is mostly the same stuff that I carry to symptomatic dysfunction. Analytical talents which I carry to over-analyzing everything in life. Observation talents which I carry to noticing every little detail which never mattered. In short, the stuff I need to find the "OFF" switch for.

@arfie

Still, you still have the talent of noticing stuff, try painting for example, notion of every detail and care you could give could make you a great painter, or a scientist, seeing stuff others normally don't notice.

@Fadeaway

Still, you are persistent, you can achieve a lot with pure persistance in the right direction.

@Seagreen

You have a lot of things that could form a great writer, creativity, ideas. Bring tolerant is good, you will pass over the first small fails with more ease.

See everyone, you all can achieve a lot, have great potential.

I'm good at singing.
I'm good at my job. (The more complex the case the better I become.)
I'm good at writing.
I'm good at listening to people.
I'm good at blaming myself.
I'm good at cooking and baking.

And I'm good at staring crying for nothing - as I do right now. Great thread, but it really...goes very deep for me right now thinking about positive things about myself. :cry:

@Anrish

Crying is actually good, you let out some emotions and later might feel better. You are not crying for no reason, you are crying because old emotions that got stuck in you before are floating to the surface.

@shimmerz

You are good at plenty of things even now.

Yesterday is history and we shouldn't live in it. Tommorow is a mistery and we can't predict what will happen, but today is a gift, and thats why it's called 'present'.

Live for today, live for what you are and look at yourself, you are great in many ways.

Many people might say that someone is stupid because he can't do a certain task they can do, but they maybe can't do some tasks that person can do.

If you made a competition amongst animals and took tree climbing as the test, of course the monkey would win, but still, on some other test, monkey might be the loser. Humans are different and test shouldn't be uniform. While you might not be good at something, you are probably really great at something else, so find your good sides and expose them.

This kind of writing brings me to tears, due to amount of my own feelings overlapped with what I write.

I'm good at:
-writing
-dog training
-listening to others
-Martial Arts (even though my sparring is nonexistent, the other stuff is great!)
-making plans and sticking to them
-cooking
-being reliable
-holistic medicine and herbal/nutritional healing
-firearms marksmanship
-never taking the easy way out, finding solutions to internal problems, and never letting the crap keep me from moving forward
