So a few days ago I recently realized these symptoms: PLEASE READ ALL

  • Frequent chest pain (mild/ comes and goes about 5 times a day/ doesn't increase when breathing heavily/stabbing pain/near breastbone)
  • Shortness of Breath (again mild, I can control it, increases when doing certain activities (running, walking up stairs, etc.)
  • Stomach grumbling (gas, especially at night time, comes and goes/not to be gross but my poopy was orange)
  • Heart palpations???? I'm not sure (maybe this is because of anxiety??)
  • Sometimes my neck twitches.... The left side
Yes, these symptoms tend to ease...and yes i get panic attacks anxiety.
BUT THEN.....I realized the more I worry about my symptoms... They increase. My heart beats faster and my shortness of breath is more intense. Is this because of anxiety???
* My frequent mild chest pains and shortness of breath are the things that are worrying me >.<.
Yes i went to take a chest x-ray (didnt get the results)
I consider myself STILL a teen, if the really matters and im not in my 20's. :D

I've had these issues. I would guess it's anxiety that causes indigestion and irritable bowel syndrome. That's why the anxiety makes it worse. It's linked but not all one thing. Taking 4 extra strength tums and imodium help me. Try Hyland nerve tonic (in the vitamin natural medicine section) for anxiety before it gets too bad. Working on what is causing the anxiety in therapy, progressive relaxation, or sleep hypnosis app can also help.

It's good that you went to the Dr. Waiting is tough, but that's how you're going to get the most accurate answer.

A good friend of mine had those symptoms a few years ago. There is a serious history of heart disease in his family so they did a very thorough work up. Stress test, CT scan, the works. They ended up deciding it was anxiety and treated him for that and it made all the difference in the world. Anxiety isn't "nothing", it needs to be treated too. Chances are things will be ok. Meanwhile, are there things that you find relaxing?

Sleeping...yes :)
And how is anxiety treated????

In my friend's case, his anxiety was mostly treated with medication. There are other forms of therapy as well. Are you in therapy? Have you been diagnosed with PTSD? (Anxiety is a pretty common feature of that.)
