My Depression

My depression has been coming in waves and it kicks my ass every time it's here. I was supposed to have an EMDR appointment but it got pushed back to sometime in May. Sometime I feel like I'm going crazy. I stay quiet and to myself because that is what I have taught myself.

Everyday I'm not sure if my husband will be in a good mood or bad one and it frustrates me. He got his gallbladder taken out in 2011 and ever since then he has been sick with stomach issues. Whenever his stomach is really giving him problems he gets the worst attitude. Like he's the ONLY sick person or the ONLY one that doesn't feel good.

I have Hydrocephalus, Cerebral Palsy, Scoliosis, Severe Depression, Chronic Migraines, Fibromyalgia and PTSD. I don't get an attitude with people or complain because I'm not feeling good which is almost everyday now.I'm only 27, I'll be 28 in September and I feel like I'm 87.

Our 9th Anniversary was on the 17th and the only thing we did was watch a movie in the morning and then my husband slept almost the whole day. Then when he did get up he went to his computer to play "World of Tanks"... Ugh sry for the rant just had to get it out

I'm so sorry you're going through such a rough time. :( Living with chronic illness sucks hard sometimes. I had never heard of Hydrocephalus so looked it up. Have you had it since childhood? Are there certain times of the year or weather conditions that make your symptoms worse? Do you have any hobbies you love that you can do in bed? I'm in a nest of blankets on the sofa today, no lights, and screen set to dim. I wish I could help you dear. *gentle *
http://chronicillnessproblems.tumblr.com/ThingsToDo There a few good links of things to do in bed here, not sure that will help at all though.

I'm sorry @ShadyBaby87 did the office call and push it back? if my memory serves me correctly they have done this to you in the past as well. It makes it really tough when even the therapist office seems like they don't care about you or helping you get better. Could just be cercumstances at the office but still it doesn't make it any easier.

Yes Becca I have had it since birth. I have almost died a few times from it but in the last 12 yrs I haven't had any issues with it. I just get bad migraines that last days. I have pretty much lost interest in everything I used to enjoy.

I tried to sit down and read a book and my pain wouldn't let me concentrate...ugh it's extremely frustrating.

It was the office, and yes it makes it extremely tough when I feel like no one cares why I feel the way I do. My family won't even talk about my PTS they think I am misdiagnosed

I just wish for you that your husband would be a bit more supportive towards you. You seem the one that has the most on your plate regarding health, and you deserve support for that too. Is he depressed too? I mean sleeping the whole day could be a sign of depression.
