I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder which isually means it can happen at anytime, anywhere, for no reason. I go through anywhere from minor to severe attacks constantly, it's very frustrating at times.
The worst though is if I get too worked up when I am angry(which doesn't happen a lot, it takes A LOT to get me truly angry). I end up in a full blown panic/anxiety attack that can last up to 3 days before I am feeling normal again.
WHAT HAPPENS:
•My adreniline sky rockets to where I am vibrating, and it feels like a live wire running through me.
•With having a fast metabolism, my heart rate is naturally higher than normal, and is even worse during an attack.
•I get heart palpitations and start hyperventilating, while feeling like I am breathing through a tiny straw.
•My heart feels like it's going to burst out of my chest, and I've passed out because of it.
•I cannot function at all, cannot talk, nothing.
It can take up to 3 days for my heart to slow down and return to what is normal for me. I have a history of hyperventilating even when I not having an attack. My therapist had me on Dizapam, which I had to stop because even doing chores such as dishes around the house would cause heart palpitations.
I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome that for me can be triggered by stress and anxiety. I have had severe ibs attacks brought on by stress and panic/anxiety attacks where I have ended up in the hospitol.
