I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder which isually means it can happen at anytime, anywhere, for no reason. I go through anywhere from minor to severe attacks constantly, it's very frustrating at times.

The worst though is if I get too worked up when I am angry(which doesn't happen a lot, it takes A LOT to get me truly angry). I end up in a full blown panic/anxiety attack that can last up to 3 days before I am feeling normal again.

WHAT HAPPENS:
•My adreniline sky rockets to where I am vibrating, and it feels like a live wire running through me.
•With having a fast metabolism, my heart rate is naturally higher than normal, and is even worse during an attack.
•I get heart palpitations and start hyperventilating, while feeling like I am breathing through a tiny straw.
•My heart feels like it's going to burst out of my chest, and I've passed out because of it.
•I cannot function at all, cannot talk, nothing.

It can take up to 3 days for my heart to slow down and return to what is normal for me. I have a history of hyperventilating even when I not having an attack. My therapist had me on Dizapam, which I had to stop because even doing chores such as dishes around the house would cause heart palpitations.

I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome that for me can be triggered by stress and anxiety. I have had severe ibs attacks brought on by stress and panic/anxiety attacks where I have ended up in the hospitol.

How is your blood pressure, generally? And have you ever been tested after one of these episodes for whether or not you've had a heart attack? Definitely, all these things you describe can and do accompany anxiety - but resting heart rate being high isn't necessary a metabolic thing (I actually think high metabolism and high resting heart rate aren't related at all, but I'm not sure), it can be related to blood pressure problems.

Never been tested to see if I have ever had a heart attack, never even occured to me to evet consider it actually, I will keep that in mind. For the most part, blood pressure is ok. As for the heart rate due to metabloism, it is indeed true. It's not significantly higher, but slightly.

I'm assuming you're a woman - I think I gleaned that in your other posts - women apparently are more likely to not recognize when they are having a minor heart attack, because the symptoms mimic so many other things. And, of course, lots of people end up going to the ER because they think they are having a heart attack when they are really having a panic attack.

So it's not an out of the ordinary thing, next time you have an episode - to have someone take you to the hospital, and tell them you might be having a heart attack.

I am a women yes, I've never been to the hospitol for a panic attack thinking it is a heart attack, I've just always figured it's a panic attack, it's only when I've had the severe ibs attack that I end up in the hospitol, which makes for a long visit there. Thank you for your advice, I will definetly keep that in mind as I had never even considered that to be an issue before, I've just assumed it was panic attacks.
