I'd have to say my phone. It carries my music to ground me, is my book at times, helps me stay grounded while driving somewhere new, it is where I listen to meditations, my schedule secretary... Etc.

Had you told me before I got a smartphone that I would find it so useful, I'd have laughed and said I didn't need all that stuff. Though that was before I started having symptoms of this.

Couldn't agree more. Before smartphone used a mp3 player to ground me with music, podcast, and positive affirmation audio books.

I do love my iPad....

But @FridayJones got me thinking.....my in laws have one of those thankless hot water heaters. That thing is the God of holidays! You can shower 9 people and do the dishes a thousand times and never suffer through one drop of cold water.

I only have a Safelink phone. I get 350 free minutes per month. After that I have to pay $20.00 for 120 minutes. This is all from Uncle Sam, for those of you in the USA who know who Uncle Sam is.

Basically it is a Tracfon.

@Link Removed Have you looked into Skype calling plans? Free if calling other Skype members, or low cost for unlimited U.S. Just need a computer & internet. PM I can send link to low cost earbud mic I've used for years.

my I pad I use it for meditation, music reading and surfing. I also love my real fire if that is a gadget it gets so cosy and I love watching the flames from logs and coal, and the crackling noises it makes. I would have a fire all the time but it would burn so much.

Threads & needles & coins.

Whatever scraps around I can make a knife of.

Sticks. Sticks are unfailingly my most favorite gadget no matter where I am.
