What Moved You Emotionally Today?

Sometimes, as my eyes dim and my hearing decreases, I feel so alive when:
*I see a beautiful shooting star
*hear some of the notes from a tiny sparrow's song while she flutters among the red berry bush
*feel the warmth of the sunbeams penetrate the frosty morn
*sip my home brewed Starbucks

and read those many members as they journey to heal.

@Recovery4Me : Sounds very emotional in a very postive way.

I was moved by a part in one of my favourite books. A teeanger tried to kill herself because of cyber mobbing and a woman talks to her...and she tells the parents later "Don't judge her! She just needs your unconditional love and being there for her!". I read that in the subway this morning and almost started crying...because the parents do the right thing - and it reminded me of myself (I didn't have this in the past) and how I have it now and right here with all these lovely people @Recovery4Me @Snowwhite @TreeHugger @Cashew @Junebug @gizmo ....and sorry if I forgot someone. Love you all and your unconditional presence.:happy:

I saw a program on TV today about family members finding each other after years of losing touch.

It reminded me of when I got back in touch with my sister, after twenty odd years of silence.

It was weird how I found her address, I was going thorough my late wife's books, when a peace of paper fell out of one, and landed on the floor.

I didn't recognise the writing at first, but when I looked really close, it looked like my wife's writing, but they never got along, in fact that was the reason for the split?

So, who wrote that address, and when, and why? .........That aside, the letter I wrote was hard to write, and I never knew how she would react, .....indeed, if at all?

I'm glad I did however, as the whole experience was very emotional, especially the first time we saw each other, when she face timed me, after a couple of Emails.

It was the best thing I've done in years, though finding that address is still a mystery?

@Gadgie: Glad that you found your sister on that mysterious way. It's like a miracle! :)

I was moved by a report about the city Pachua in Mexico. A graffiti artist who invited the inhabitants painted one district in bright colours and the war between the two families residing there wasn't so important anymore. It brought peace to a whole district and work for the people living there.:wideeyed:

I was moved by Cleo's carefulness and effort during the last night. I had severe pain in my shoulder and neck - couldn't even sleep or lay down...and she called the hospital, doctor on duty...and drove me to the doctor this morning. She said "It's normal for me because I like you"...
