I Learnt To Drive An Orange Tractor!

I can now chain saw down feral trees and do clearing for bush fires, which in Australia is a mighty handy skill to have. But I outdid myself today learning to drive an orange tractor (personal opinion without any scientific research to back me up but I don't think the red ones go faster) and I must say it looked scary and it has taken me about a year to get up the courage to try it, but I was like a proverbial duck to water! (No ducks were harmed in the mowing of that lawn!)

Isn´t it awesome?

At the flying club, we had a mini lawnmower, a golf cart, and then three huge tractors: one green, one red, one blue.
The blue one was the most impressive of all. Like a tank from way back. All rusty and f*cked up.

I felt like a king when I had mastered all of them, haha.

PS I have never chainsawed anything but that would be a sweet skill.

It is a sweet skill - but you have to be very, very careful @Radise! Heaps of people have killed themselves with chainsaws. I often joke about how I am going to write a book on Chain Sawing and the Art of Mindfulness @Radise!

I just used the orange tractor on the slopes - I had been scared to do it before but now, well I had to lean to the other side but by the end of it I realised I can do it!
