Donation Goal 2016 / 2017

With the goal being already met, I have decided to renew it in the near future so as not to miss out on any immediate future donations people may want to contribute, yet don't because it is currently met for February's renewal period.

The community at large have exceeded our renewal requirements by $700. Awesome!

I anticipated the server requiring upgrade during 2016, so what I plan on doing is using that money to implement this upgrade now, instead middle year. The upgraded server, I do not anticipate having to further upgrade that server outside of RAM or Hard Drive space / type, pretty much forever.

This will take the annual cost to around $3950. Again, outside of RAM or HDD, I think that would suffice for a long time to come. I will give more on this once home, as I have no intention to engage such things on holidays from a notebook computer and very ordinary www connection.

As outlined above, I have upgraded the donation system to a completely new one, removing the old. I have started it new, still ending correctly 27 Feb 2017.

I have transferred the difference between the server upgrade and what was achieved, being $110 upon the new system.

All existing donations have been imported into the system, so not old donations are lost, or those members who are highlighted as donating members.

Oh... a new feature of the upgraded donation system, is that you can automatically set a subscribed annual amount which will renew on the same day, each consecutive year.

Wow, thanks to @Ayesha , @Simply Simon @Alice.in.Wonderland @gizmo @TreeHugger @She Cat and "Anonymous" for your response to my post bringing us up to 43.3% (ideally 50% would be perfect being 6 months in).

I just hope other members who utilise this resource, only if affordable, can find it in their hearts to donate even just $1.00 a year, as if every active member did this we'd come close to covering the major costs of being online for you. We appreciate every dollar and I often feel bad seeing the same members assisting keeping us online and love it when someone "new" donates; even if a little :)

Apparently I cant do simple math, 2,000 is half way lol. So change that to taking it to 1,800. Doh!
