Thanks for sharing and I identify! I've been finding these last couple of weeks intense but am turning to some helpful though tools I learnt in somatic experiencing. I'm waiting to see a new therapist and haven't had treatments for weeks so being able to use some SE resources has been a help For example it's not always necessary to talk as connecting with the body is very transformative. For example doing simple things like give yourself a hug or imagine a beautiful peaceful place, animal or situation that makes your body feel really good and safe. Stay with that for a while and notice the sensations in your body i.e there might be warmth, tingling, pleasurable sensations. Already the nervous system is starting to regulate and you don;t have to talk about anything, rather the body's having a nicer conversation than the one you're used to, it's beginning to relax, feel a bit safe again and that's very empowering.
