A Result Of Ptsd Or Medication Side Effects?

My boyfriend suffers from PTSD. He is on a variety of medication for TBI, PTSD, Depression, and a stomach issue. There are many times where he has difficulty getting an erection. He's been prescribed the usual 'boosters', if you will, but it would be more helpful to know if this is something that will last forever or is a result of his trauma. His trauma is all war related. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions?

Oh, any of those could be the cause... I know on certain meds, my bf had difficulty, too. But depression/ptsd and stomach issues are not usually conducive to intimacy, either. In any case, it's important that he still feel loved, so make sure you find other ways to express it through action - men tend to weigh action heavier than words, which is why sex is SO important to them.

I had issues when I switched to a different anti depressant, but as I got used to it everything was fine. If its not that it could be stress related to the ED which just makes it worse, I had that issue once. Are the stomach issues related to stress? Depression/Anxiety could be the issue otherwise Google says there are a lot of people with TBI who have different degrees of ED and impotence.
