Oh. Yah. I enjoyed how the author made it very easy to understand how the brain operates with and without PTSD. It even seems humorous at times and made me laugh. I felt less like a crazy person after reading it. Maybe others who are having trouble understanding what is going on in the brain in a clinical sense would find some useful information in there.

Ya and then just to make it more complicated. The amygdala responds differently in the female brain than the mail brain.

Something left and right one.
Sorry if I'm a pain in the, but I am kind of enjoying writing this post. I admit I love sarcasm.

It is just so nice to come across something sometimes that can transform information. I have baby language when it comes to stuff that is written by the christianized christalized intelligence system.

Missing the vocabulary while understanding stuff sucks sometimes. I read an article in the new scientist magazine about the lovely amygdala (I find them pretty good and when I have the pc, I can look words up).

@novemberDark - I read somewhere how male and female brains are evolutionarily adaptive so that theoretically girls stay "present" (have to protect the little ones) during trauma whereas the males take off - at least mentally - (to stay safe so they can bring home the bacon). I am not saying that's true. I just read that's the tendency per theory.

My brother has no memories of childhood. I remember too much! Who knows. Certainly females can't remember sometimes, maybe the trauma is too great, feels impossible to integrate at the time.

So much for theories.

Well theories have to be merely put to the test right?
And all changes and evolves, theory just running after it to get documented.
That's why people are so important those that are experiencing things? in 'real time'. They use tue expression of the vocabulary they have.

Oh and I just remembered another article that stuck with me. Something about testing meds done on mostly the male rat brain (male neurologists were laying the basics, as access to the profession was not for females for so long) Im just wondering if all was into consideration. Its nice if you can identify, but in another way.

Its nice if you can id...plus nice if you can keep compiled data redundant.

I was expecting input instead of likes in the alerts here.
Alsways been very scared of taking meds, celexa in the garbage, clonazapam to tempting to take little pieces during the day, just being honest.
