Yay me. I finally go to the dr when I am sick or injured. When they start lecturing/questioning why I have rarely been to a dr through the years I have been letting them know that I was sexually assaulted by a Dr in the past, it has really affected me but I am now trying to overcome it.
I had my mammogram and pelvic exam. I have been there while sick and needed medication. It hasn't been easy and I have had major anxiety, but hey, I have been actually doing it. I have gone probably 6 times in the past year. I hadn't been at all since like 2011....
I am proud of myself for this. It's a huge accomplishment for me ,not just going but also speaking up about being sexually assaulted too.
