No. Having thoughts and feelings isn't the same as acting on them. And going on what I can work out from what you are saying here it sounds like you don't want to have these thoughts and feelings. And wouldn't choose to act on them?
Abuse screws with our brains and minds in crappy ways. It's not fair. It sucks. But it is what it is and unfortunately we are left with the responsibility of fixing it all ourselves even though it wasn't our fault we got broken. I guess that's what makes the difference between an abuser and a non-abuser - the ability to take responsibility for how we act and what we choose to act on?
Do you have a therapist? If not, I'd recommend getting one so you can untangle some of this stuff instead of strangling yourself with it.
Your so right and thank you. Also no i don't have one anymore he moved to New Orleans but I do seek to find a new one in the new future. Btw, what is somatic therapy and will it help me with what am struggling with?
