I have a sleep disorder and suffer daytime sleepiness, for which I rake Adderoll. Last month when I went to fill the prescription, the pharmacy told me to try somewhere else as they have none and wont be getting it. I have since learned that there will not be any made in the US until 2012, as the company is not allowed any more amphedimine to make it this year. Because of this, I have been saving it and only taking it about half the time for the past month. This has prolonged my being out a couple of weeks. I cant drive on those days. I have my checking account all messed up, among other things. I almost missed jury duty.
Has anybody else experienced any problems like this with getting needed medication? and if so, what did you do?
My insurance company told me to go back to doc and get a similiar med. As I understand, there are really none that work the same.
