Hey everyone. My girlfriend just graduated from a couple month PTSD treatment program and is now home after 2 months there. Naturally the transition to home life is a hard one, on anyone, so I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on making this as easy on her as possible.

She doesn't live with me but we have spent the last couple days/nights together. Tomorrow we are going to work together and hammer out a weekly schedule to minimize the chance of her isolating.

She has made a ton of progress there and I am sooooo proud of her strength. I know once she gets herself grounded and feeling safe she will be in a much better place than ever before.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

My boyfriend has been in and out of the hospital during our 7 month relationship. Currently, this is the longest time frame...3 weeks going on 4. Every time he gets out, it's like we start from scratch, back to the beginning. I don't, mind..that's just how it is.

It reminds me of that movie where Adam Sandler plays a veterinarian who works at Sea World in Hawaii, and Drew Barrymore is his girlfriend with a head injury. Every date they have is like their first date, the first time they met. That's like it is with me and my boyfriend.

Sincerely,
Dallas.
