Lol Ammon... I was FMF but I always heard the jokes about the Navy being the Marines Taxi... I heard a Chief say it well once.. "well then walk your azz across the Atlantic if yall are so tough!" lol... and no I was a Doc so neutral.. just thought it was funny....

There's a grain of truth in that one for me. I originally wanted to be a Marine so I showed up to the USMC recruitment office and the recruiter there told me I wouldn't hack it in the Corps. I was pierced, tattoo'd, had a purple mohawk, and the body of Jack Skellington. I walked, crestfallen, and then the Army recruiter was standing in the hallways. He said, "Why not the Army?"

And I never looked back.
