My husband goes to dialyis in the late afternoon til around 10 pm every 2nd day (just started this schedule recently). I have been having major anxiety attacks during these times, slowly coming on as it gets darker outside, til I'm crying and hysterical almost by 8 pm.. I think I know that its a trigger for me, the night coming as thats when all the abuse happened, father came home from drinking after work,e tc. but its so bad when I'm alone, and not bad at all when he's here. He is actually asking about changing his dialysis to days because of this. I feel really nuts sometimes! I tried closing all the curtains and turning on all the lights and some other things but it helps alittle...
anyone else triggered by times of day, year? Oh I just realized something too.. fall was bad for me as kid too.. had to return from summer vacation away from my father to the isolated town we lived in. that could be worsening this too.
