Yel, it's an opiod (and a controlled one at that). That's potentially gonna put you to sleep, or make you feel a little woozy!

T3 is a thyroid medication so I'm guessing there may be a few medical issues on board?

I believe from research this is the equivalent of what is known in the US as Tylenol 3. As @Ragdoll Circus mentioned it has codeine in it so yes for most people it can be sedating. For me I can't take it as it has the opposite effect on my and is hyper stimulating.

Aha thanks. I tried googling yesterday but couldn't find anything. That would be co-codamol in the UK and from what I can find looks to be with a 30mg dose of codeine?
I've been on various strengths of co-codamol in the past for different things (pain related). Higher doses do make me feel a bit stoned initially, yep, but I've tended to build up tolerance quite quickly.
If you're concerned about how it's making you feel, maybe talk to your prescribing doctor again and see if there's a lower dose available, or other options you can look at for sleep.

While T3 is a thyroid hormone, in the U.S. we don't refer to the thyroid medications as such because T3 is what we call Tylenol with codeine. for short. So basically T3 = EmTec

So this reads to me as "I was put on Green pills and was too alert for my sleep meds to kick in. I told doc and was prescribed even more Green pills"

As far as the medication goes. It is one of the only pain relievers I tolerate well. It is pretty addicting though. I will puke if I take it on an empty stomach so watch out for that. On it's own it doesn't help me sleep, but combines with sleep meds, it helps them work much better. It just isn't something you want to do for more than a week or so at a time.

Told doc about how I feel and that I need more to start my day. He was concerned and stopped the emtec. On a hot summer night my blanky feels cool to touch and breathing is a chore. Sometimes it feels like there is a giant clothes pin on my back that i cant shake off. Feel so weak. Dr said.... its withdrawal. I didnt know. I just thought i was getting sick.

I have no appetite for ice cream. I have one drumstick left in the freezer. Family Guy does not entertain me. Sleep meds are overpowered by restless jitters. No appetite for apple fritters. Anyone that ask how i am... i am in the shitter:meh::meh:
