Romi was such a fun person. She was a chef by profession. I remember when she was in school, and she'd be creating new dishes for one of her classes. She'd call me up and ask if I'd be willing to be a guenie (spelling) pig and taste what she'd made. I only got sick one time. She became a very good cook.
At one time we decided to become Amway agents. Thought it would be fun. i used to go by and pick her up and drive out to the point of the mountain to the leaders house. We had a lot of fun on those drives. We'd stop, on our way home, at this little coffee shop where they had a rose garden up in the mountains. It was fun to walk around together and just laugh at silly stuff.
She had a wonderful family. I'm glad they never blamed me for her death. At her funeral, we all blew bubbles, sang children's songs, and there was a bagpiper there. It as very touching. I miss her a lot.
