I miss my maternal grandfather, the only male elder that accepted me just as I was and never made me fearful as a little one. Another animal rescuer, too. And, a non-conformist very unlike most of the folks in my family. (Although apparently he was an absent father, so I try not to over-idealize, by I so miss him).

I miss a really good friend and his wife. I had been friends for 20 yrs. But I had to acknowledge that he was a big gossip and when we moved off the toxic mountain community, I had to disconnect from him too. I really miss so much. But I wanted a clean break from the toxic community and he has alot of contacet with all of the. Bittersweet.

I love having the anonaminity of knowing that no one knows us here. It has been very healing for me and for my husband.

Wow! I moved to this foothill town in Appalachia to get that same sense of anonymity. I miss some of my grad school friends but after we all graduated, we went our separate ways -- and life is busy even for non PTSDers.

I still miss my mom!
Though a dog is officially not considered as someone - I miss my puppy who is in a dog "boot-camp" (training center) for a month, and right now she is the one who could cheer me up!

I miss my five brothers and sisters that all died tragically before their time.

I miss my crazy messed up dysfunctional parents.

I miss the love of my life that died to young.

I miss my sister who is in the last stage of alzheimers. Currently is hospital with pneumonia. She probably won't recognise me when I see her in 10 days.

I have been looking for someone that I cared for very much that I knew from the age of 9 years old. I finally found out that he died. I miss him now and will always.:cry:

I miss my grandma who passed away a few years ago and my mother who passed away last year. I also miss a friend whose friendship I lost over 20 years ago.
