I am missing my son and daughter that are in California a lot today.

My baby girl is off on school camp, so quiet without her. I miss her dad too, 2 months since we left to give him time to himself.

I realize I miss my grandpa too. He has been gone over 20 years. When I was in my teens and going through mental health issues, and was hospitalized, of course I worried about the stigma. My grandpa told me to tell people that the only difference between them and me is that I got help and they didn't. He also joked that him and I were certified crazy because we both had papers, and the way he said it it was a good thing. :) He received medical help after World War 2.

I miss my Mom. A lifetime of not getting along, 7 years of not talking. Now I just want a hug from my mommy. Weird huh? I am 47.:confused:

Sometimes, very rarely, I have that too. Then I realize it's not really my mother I am longing for but a mother.

I miss my Gran.

To those of you who are Grandparents and think that you are unloved because you don't get a reply to your phonecalls or letters, do not think that way. Grandparents are the most important people in the world.

My Gran died two months before I married Husband, and sadly she never got to meet him. There isn't a day that goes by that I don't think about her and miss her very much.

I also miss my mum. She's still alive, just not the person she could be. There are also days when I miss Husband...
