I miss the me I was before my illness. Not the me before PTSD and depression, I don't remember that me. Just the me before my illness, when I was active and able to work.

I'm pretty sure no matter what relationships I form with people or animals in the future I will miss my dog till the day I die. I feel so lucky to have been able to share the last half of his life with him. Despite all I've been through I consider myself extremely lucky just to share the bond we had.
