Because as soon as i mention the sexual abuse that's all they focus on. The psychological/emotional abuse becomes secondary somehow.

Out there dealing with the bigger world? I totally get this. Around here? Much less so. You’re in good company. Many people here totally get that while the physical or sexual component of their abuse is what gave them their diagnosis, it’s the psychological component of their abuse that really messed them up. I’ll put my hand up as one of those people.

Hope you find the community supportive, but always remember that it’s an international forum. So take what’s helpful, leave the rest;)

@SHIKI - title amended. Next time you have an issue with a staff action, use contact us. Changing titles of threads is something staff do routinely, and it's not an exact science. Input is always welcome.
