Atheist unite!!

@Wilbur - but are you an atheist? If not, we'd like to ask that you please don't post here.

Im nothing- yes, spiritual- maybe leaves and trees? I’m not Christian nor do I follow any specific denomination.Energy intrigued me and so does plain old kindness and acceptance. I’ll have to go think about this- hum- do I want to join another group- atheists- not any more communal about that either-sorry, didn’t mean to step on your toes since I’m not a card carrying member of the atheist religion. Have a good day.

This thread is for Atheist’s discussion only

I’m not certain how this could be more clear.

@Wilbur Threadbanned

Everyone Else... It does not matter how interesting their discussion may be, nor how much you would like to join in, add to, debate, query, argue, or give high fives. There is one thread for atheists to discuss things amongst themselves, and this is it. If you would like to participate in any ongoing discussion in this thread, but are not an atheist, please go start your own thread & quote the content you would like to explore. People who do not identify as atheists will continue to be thread banned in this thread, and may have their content deleted.

Just want to throw out a big Three Cheers for serendipity (in an environment where someone won't pop up and tell me it was [(their)variation of a] god.)

Over lunch, my flatmates and I were talking about the things we still needed to sort for the flat:
-couch
-another clothes horse
-some shelves for the living area.

About one hour later, my flatmate comes into my room saying she's just seen an ad online that someone is giving away some furniture for free: first in first served.
-not only were they literally (true sense of the word) 5 houses up the road from us, but they also were giving away:
-a couch
-and a clothes horse.

Too bad the third item they had was a desk not some shelves; probably couldn't have denied the existence of a god then.. ;)

Our toddler's favorite words are currently "What dat?" - said loudly while pointing. She says it about everything, because she knows nothing. She's learning.

Today we passed the neighborhood church.
"What dat?"
"That's a church."
"Chuch."
"Yes. That's where people go to pretend to talk to imaginary people."
"Ohhhh."

She didn't understand it, but someday she will.
