@desiderata310 , reading that, it dawned on me that my own response to Trump starts in my amygdala. I'm quite sure I've met people like him IRL. They lie and I believe them to be dangerous. There's pretty much nothing he could say, at this point, that's going to change that. And his supporters trigger the old pinky toe by being apparently oblivious to what I perceive as danger.
I've had some interesting conversations with his supporters by asking about they're beliefs and opinions, and getting them to explain their reasoning.
