Hi, I'm the op, just an update, my friend told me that the guy who killed himself had been diagnosed with schizophrenia, I just think his boyfriend telling him "don't be stupid" when he was telling him he wanted to die was wrong and insensitive. He needed support and obviously wasn't getting any and he had stopped taking his meds. His boyfriend had split from him for a few months when he done it. Incredibly sad. When my friend was telling me the story I just wanted to cry and cry.
