Bernie Sanders makes me wish I was American for one day so that I could vote for him. Not a lot of honorable politicians out there, but he definitely walks the walk.

I would just like to say that, as an outsider, I don't want that lunatic anywhere near foreign policy.

My dream team at this point? Hillary and Elizabeth Warren. We are ready for two women to lead the US. Elizabeth would be an inspired choice because she is such a wonderful liberal with a lot of smarts and would hopefully attract the Bernie voters.

I would really much prefer to vote for Warren for president, rather than Hillary, but I think we all know it's going to come down to Hillary vs. Trump. Unless, that is, Cruz and Kasich can pull off their scheme to stop Trump. I'm not holding my breath on that.

I was shocked when Warren said that no, really, she was not running in 2016.

If Clinton had Warren on her ticket, I would consider voting for her.

Otherwise, I will write in Sanders. A party loyalist I am not. Afraid of the GOP? No. If Trump were to become president? It could be the most productive political disaster this nation has seen in a long time.

I respect your decision, Simon. I am a party loyalist because it's really important to have a Democrat in the White House and to also vote for other Democrats for the House and Senate so that the president has people to work with and who will support him or her to get good things done. We've gone more forward as a country with Democratic presidents than with Republicans (except for Lincoln, when the then-new Republican Party was really more like the Democratic Party now). Think the New Deal from FDR, the Civil Rights movement with JFK and Johnson signing landmark legislation into law, the New Society with Johnson . . . . (And, yeah, Johnson was horrible re the Vietnam War, but he was great on domestic policies.)

I have never before felt so disappointed with both nominees that writing in a third party seemed prudent. This is a sad year.
