When are we starting the Girl with a dragoon tattoo books?

I ordered mine only a couple of days ago. I have already received one book from Book Depository... they're much faster than Amazon. It literally took six days to arrive from the UK. I have ordered that series from them as well, so I expect to have it within a week, early next week at latest.

I will order that other series KP also when we start the third larson series book.

Awesome. I am curious how people on the forum will take the first Larson book. And give me a chance to read the rest of the series. I never finished it, got to heavy for 'fun' reading.

I know the Alchemist thread doesn't start for a few days yet. But I started reading it this morning. I'm about halfway through.

I'm in a really bad mind place right now and it is most strange, but this book is bringing some calm and peace to my tormented mind.

I can't wait to write more in the actual thread.

Well, I have two of our following books now arrive, the glass castle and Anne Frank... just awaiting the April book to arrive, Maos Last Dancer, which should be here in the coming days, as well as the stigg larrson series.

I think I've been let down by my ebay seller for the Stigg trilogy. I need to wait until the 22nd March for a resolution - b*llocks.

The Alchemist has blown me away and I have Maos Last Dancer ready to go. Next week I will order the remaing books on the list, I have them sourced - just waiting for my next salary.

I am really surprised when I suggested Anne Frank that it was chosen. I suggested as a sort of joke, never thinking it would get picked. For those who picked it...why did you? Just curious.

@KP, doesn't matter... it is a series, we can start them any time. I have two other books on the way for me to read of to the side of book club as is.

Yer, I also thought Anne Frank was a surprise, but it won, so that be that I guess... this is all about reading things outside our comfort zone.

Yeah I can see why it would be out of our comfort zone. Reading something that a very intelligent and wise 15 year old wrote and then knowing what happened to her...well, it can be hard.
