I am a kid in a candy store when I am underwater watching marine life pass me by.
It is an amazing feeling to go out on a boat, drive over to a dark spot on the ocean, go in and find this incredible life below! Full of colors and different creatures! When you surface back to the top, it's surreal thinking that just moments before you were swimming with nurse sharks! :nailbiting:
Sailorgal, this the same way I learned to jump from height. but I needed some unknown assistance. I remember uncle slowly climbed upstairs and I was looking at water from height. I was being too fearful. Uncle knew I need a breakthrough to go through to break this fears. He just hold me and threw me into water.I feared the water because my skills were not strong but my love for the ocean pushed me through
Hi D, Thank you for this lesson. :)It doesn't have to be anything major
I'm good at collage and I love it. I've somehow managed to do art foundation, ie a one year pre-university art course, and still can't draw! But give me scissors and I can do just about anything. :)
Hi Sailorgal, this type of diving sound fabulous and beautiful! I'm happy you started this thread and have shared this.
Sailorgal, if you weren't sailorgal I don't think we would have discussed that far. It was fun talk. Credit also goes to you and Ms Spock. :)I just mentioned diving because we were discussing swimming.
That is mine limit, too. I am wishing someday we will break this fear.Maybe 10 feet is my limit! I'm a wimp when it comes to heights! That's why I love diving with a tank! :watching:
At first it was hard and frustrating...didn't make any sense.
