Hi.
So, I'm uninsured and only have access to therapy at my university's counseling center. For the past 3 semesters, I have seen this one T. He's great, and we get along well. However, he only works during the regular academic year, so he is off until Sept 5th or whatever date school starts up again. Currently, I am in group therapy which is unrelated to trauma.
I had been trying to see a different T, but I'm rather tired of looking when I can't seem to find a good fit. There was one 1.5 hours away that I really liked, but he was too concerned about the commute to accept me as a client. It appears that I will continue to go untreated until September.
So do any of you have advice for me as I have this long break? What do you do when you have breaks in your therapy? Any pointers that I can take to heart?
Thanks,
Noah
