Hi original poster. I was Ehate before.
I can understand when you describe those two experiences that you started wanting more normal talk therapy.
The first one in particular, is the sort of therapy I think everyone should stay well away from. Personally, I don't think someone who would say you are cursed is either a healer or trustworthy. That isn't my image of energy healing, it's certainly not anything I'd recommend. I'm sorry you had that experience.
Regarding the other experience you describe, it's hard to comment. I'm fascinated by your dream and the singing. I do a lot of dream interpretation, and dreams can have unexpected layers when you go into them more deeply. Also, any physical thing that happens in the dream state - like the singing - can be a sign of a major shift. But I completely understand if you wanted to call a halt at that point.
I just wanted to emphasise that there are some well established, well-regulated professional bodies/colleges for types of energy healing. So you can check first that you'll be seeing someone trained, qualified and registered in a proper system of treatment and ethics. Here in the UK, for instance, I could see someone registered with the National Federation of Spiritual Healers (but I wouldn't go to see someone who just called themselves a spiritual healer). I could also seek out someone within that who had experience working with survivors of trauma.
I wanted to stress that in case anyone else is thinking about it.
