I use turmeric for several things, especially to fight off a cold. It's amazing for that. And I've had a lifelong love of curry. We eat it all the time. But I haven't noticed any mental or emotional effects. Although I can see it being possible. Feeling bad physically always makes everything else going on seem worse. Assuming it has health benefits it would also contribute to being better able to cope with some things. I can't see how it would stop memories from popping up, though.
