They're a system of reflection of the journey to crucifixion and after. IMO, there is no "right way" to do them. If it's a good spiritual experience for you, then it's "right."

Maybe trust isn't an either/ or thing. There's different levels of trust depending on the specific person or situation. For example, I trust the runner behind me in a road run won't try to attack me. But,I wouldn't get a ride home from that person.

PTSD makes us think black/ white -either/or. The truth is usually in the middle somewhere.

Trust takes a big hit. We trusted, we got hurt. I don't know the answer- except that you trust us enough to even ask these questions.

God seems safer but you need people too. I think u know this because you're asking the questions. I suppose it may be the belief of perfection. Humans aren't. In any relationship, there will be hard times. Or you might get hurt.

One thing I noticed- you said you will be re traumatized if you trust again. How do you know? Maybe this is fear talking? Maybe start with friendships and not romance. Steps.
