That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.”
1 Corinthians 2:9 NLT
(I sure cannot wait to find out what He has prepared for us, can you?)
I wanted to mention that there is a book called HEAVEN IS FOR REAL which has 2 versions. The first one that was published was written for adults, and I read it and was most impressed with it. It is about a little boy who went to Heaven when he was being operated on for apentiscitis. His story is told by his parents, as he told it to them.
The second book is called HEAVEN IS FOR REAL FOR KIDS and is by the boy himself! He also collaborated with an artist so the illustrations in it are very close to what he himself experienced and saw in Heaven. I highly recommend both books and both can be found on Amazon.com. The boy's name is Colton Burpo. His parents last name is also Burpo, of course, but I forget their first names.
I have been in the hospital for a week, so sorry this thread kind of took a back seat in my life. Now that I am recovering and getting my life back into a normal state, (well, normal in terms of my usual activities, my life is never really what one could consider "normal" by any stretch of the imagination) then I will resume doing my usual things. Please pray for my recovery. Thanks!
Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
Romans 8:35, 37 NLT
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38-39 NLT
I am doing a Bible Study online with some friends on Facebook, it is called SEEK GOD FIRST and is by a company called First Place For Health. I think they abreviate it by writing it this way: FP4H. I recommend this study highly. We are in week 3 of it now. The company has a lot of other studies too.
The book is called SEEK GOD FIRST and is published by the FP4H folks. Other than that, just the Bible and our own experiences that we share. Also, our leader posts things about stuff to do with the study from other sources on Facebook. I forget where where she gets these from, but basically, a lot of them contain Bible quotes and have pictures in them.
