Footprints in the Sand

One night I had a dream.

I dreamed I was walking along the beach
with the Lord..

Across the sky flashed scenes from my life..
For each scene, I noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand,
one belonging to me, and the other to the Lord..

When the last scene of my life flashed before me,
I looked back at the footprints in the sand.
I noticed that many times along the path of my life
there was only one set of footprints.
I also noticed that it happened at the very lowest
and saddest times in my life.

This really bothered me
and I questioned the Lord about it:
"Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you,
you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why
when I need you most you would leave me."

The Lord replied:
"My precious child, I love you and would
never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints, it was then
that I carried you."

Indeed, our favorite music is so much of a blessing to us, thanks for sharing, Guys! I have something that I like to listen to when I need some calming relaxing music. It is just as good as a clonazepam (tranquilizer) for me! Here it is:

This is what Moses said to the Israelites right as they were about to enter the promised land:

I think this applies to us today as much as it did to them. In fact, the Bible says that God says to us 365 times not to fear. He assured us that He would always be with us. So fear not! That is what God advises us!

Probably not the best Christ like person I should be its hard when all I see are people sayin one thing and doin another. I am in that boat myself. But I remember what Jesus said to me. It's not by my hand but by his. I fail daily. But it is His grace and mercy that I have faith in. He has told me I will be whole again and all I have to do is trust in him. That's hard for me. But I try. Thank you for puttin this place up. I feel like there is a reason I came here. Pray for me in my darkest and in my lightest times because I need it.
