Those emails were written as things were unfolding, weren't they?

Yes, she told her family that it wasnt caused by the protest but then after she sent that to her family lied to the American people and the soldier's family and said it was the protest.

I watched that one congressional hearing where they were asking her about that one specific thing.

She lied basically.

My horror lies in she refused to send them re-enforcements and let them be sitting ducks. What happened to no man left behind?

I get the horrors of war but im a big military brat and it was enstilled in me that we just dont drop troops and leave them without help!

If she deliberately left those people there, intending for them to die, it's a crime.

I think she did but thats just my opinion. There's zero way to prove that. And i dont hate her for that specifically (though i really dont like her in general...but i also really dont like Trump in general) but i just am appauld at how each side, both big Trump supporters and big Hillary supports just shoo things away and sweep things under rugs as "no big deal" or state "no one cares about Benghazi." I care!

Just like Trump and Putin. I care about that too. Which was my point. So much emphasis is on Trump and Americans not caring about this and that (I think in one thread it was much smaller stuff) but the same is happening on the other side.

Heck, the only advantage I can see to these two parties we've gotten ourselves stuck with is they hate each other so much they're somewhat likely to st least send each other to jail any time they actually can.

Yes but if it were Dems, they would of excused it fully and not even ask about it as they are today. In my opinion.

I dont, though, like the extreme back and forth head biting. Its like "why cant we all get along?" And I am more of an independant though i do lean a bit right but not by much and would register independant but then i cant vote in primaries.

I sort of take elections like all sides are lying and its my job to find the truth. Thats more reality anyway.

No, it'a not. Here's something else to argue about with my dad. It's scary how much he excuses stuff Trump says. It's not ok to excuse it just because you hate Clinton. It just isnt! I hate them both but will never excuse the shit that comes out of Trump's mouth!

So I've just had a thought: I don't think Trump actually wants to win. i wonder if he is intentionally trying to sabotage his own campaign. He met with the Mexican president earlier today, in what appeared to be a bid to make up for all the comments he's made throughout his campaign that have alienated Mexicans and minorities in general. He called the meeting "substantive and constructive," and it actually looked like he may have managed to do damage control for all of his earlier crazy talk. BUT THEN, after the Mexican president publicly said Mexico would not pay for any wall, and after Trump himself admitted publicly that the pair had not discussed funding for a wall, Trump insisted that "Mexico will pay for the wall, 100%. They don't know it yet but they're going to pay for the wall." What?!?!?! That seems like deliberate sabotage. No way he could be that stupid. He had just succeeded in smoothing things over with Mexican voters .... and then he recklessly insulted all of Mexico and the Mexican president. For no real reason.

The only explanation I can see is that maybe he started the race with no real intention of winning .... maybe it was all a big joke and he just wanted to see if he could get voters .... and now he's trying to get out.
