I also fear the debate will be a food fight. Too bad that "apology" was yet another blame shift. Hillary made him say those things!

I'm sorry. But why isn't this thread titled Clinton vs. Trump vs. Green vs. Johnson. It's only fair.

People are so unhappy with both candidates and scared of them they can't even consider a third party. It's all out of fear that no one is considering them. I'm not saying I'm voting third party because I am also scared of Trump. But how is that ever going to change anything. Or am I just too extreme. I'm hoping after this recent video about Trumps comments on women, his polls will sink... so the fear that he might win will finally dwindle and third party representatives could have more of a chance.

It's not up to the staff to make decisions like that. If the OP wants a title change, they can request it through the various channels. Otherwise, it's perfectly fine for a thread as long as this one to follow whatever content the posters dictate; in other words, there's no reason this thread cannot host content about Green or Johnson, and I believe it has.

My question was more rhetorical. And yeah, I haven't looked through the rest of the thread to see other comments about the other candidates. Just frustrated that people normally don't see or consider that there are other options.

And here's GOP nominee bragging about how he's entitled to commit sexual assault because he's wealthy and famous: Dead Link Removed

Considering Trump had zero political ambitions in 2005, yet Bill and Hillary Clinton left a littered trail of interns and women who felt they were victims of sexual harassment at best, rape at worst and that the Clinton's had careers in government during that period... what's your point?

Trump did have political aspirations in 2005. He's long been heavily involved in politics.... including a very long history of supporting Bill and Hillary Clinton whom you say...

I saw Trump speak about his desire to run for president someday in the early 2000s, and I became neverTrump then before it was even a thing. (I'm not pro-Hillary either.)

What's my point? It's just more of the same from Trump. I didn't find the video all that shocking. Just more of who I know the man to already be in 2016. It is a video that is persuading many others to reconsider, especially GOP party members, the general public, and people who would traditionally be in favor of the GOP nominee.

Is Donald Trump accelerating evangelical break with GOP?

@Nadia - I agree it's frustrating no one pays more attention to other options. There was a thread about third parties but it didn't gain as much traction, much like the political discussion as a whole. Most Americans have made it a binary choice. It doesn't have to be that way.

More of the same for Trump, More of the same for Clintons... sadly we really do get the governance we "deserve".

WikiLeaks last document dump linked the Clinton Foundation and Hillary solidly in the Uranium One deal, however that's not what you all or the media want to talk about, eh?

I agree, this is massively underreported in the media. It also doesn't make for an easy snapchatted facebooked video, so the general public pays less attention to something that isn't a shocking short video. This whole election cycle is one PR nightmare after another, and the issues of even greater substance get ignored.

As for this thread, I've been actually wondering myself though why those who are against the Clintons and/or in favor of Trump have been more quiet on the thread. I'm glad you are posting though and bringing some of this up.

As for me, I think I am becoming like many Americans: burned out and desensitized. I am finding that I'm paying attention less and less, and I have become a bit numb to just how bad things are for both Trump and Clinton. It's become like, oh, Trump and/or Clinton just did something else unethical and/or is evidence that suggests criminal activity? Eh, so what else is new? :(

I am for neither, yet I have not been quiet on this thread. My preference though isn't for the devil that you know and though some think a vote for other candidates is an "option" it really is not.

Personally I was ready to throw something at my television when they trotted out Ezekiel Emanuel again about the state of the "AFCA"/Obamacare. BUT, if sound byte pundits and media has it's way, what is brought to public and what is reported is deplorable. Those informed, know that... those who aren't really don't f'ing care.

Also when no one was looking, California is petitioning to be among the first states to allow illegal immigrants to vote, dems are paying for votes (yes people voting started about a week ago), dead people are voting, and on and on it goes. But hey, watch the puppet instead of the man who operates it, eh?
