I must be one of the clumsiest people I know. yesterday I managed to slam my sprained foot on a ladder and I also managed to crack my head open on a cupboard. Ok and those are only the ones I remember. I seem to have a cut on my leg, I have no clue where that came from.

Just wondering what I might accomplish today:roflmao:

How about....not hurting yourself!:roflmao: Seriously though, I'm only clumsy when I have PMS in which case no one is safe! I can reach out for a glass and my hand just can't grasp it or I knock it over. I constantly bump into things and I drive very badly.

My hubby is Dyspraxic though and one day he was putting up a curtain rail in the upstairs landing window. He dropped his screw driver and it went, 'bump, bump' down the stairs. He came down, picked it up with a 'damn!' Then he dropped it again! Three times he dropped it and three times he chased it down the stairs as his language got progressively worse!

During the summer he was gutting the conifers at the back of the house with the electric hedge trimmers and managed to cut hi thumb open. It was rally deep and I had to sterry-strip it(stick on sutures). He is very clumsy!

Hope the foot, head and leg get better soon NH! x

I'm SUPER clumsy when I'm nervous, and I'm usually nervous in social situations! So, all my friends and family and people I don't even know, usually get a good laugh when I trip.

Worse than tripping though, is that I will choke on my own saliva sometimes! I think I gasp or something and next thing you know, I'm coughing like I'm going to die... eyes watering... face turning red. Most of the time, people turn away at first, lol... but I have usually inhaled this saliva to the depths of my lungs and I CANNOT stop choking. People will say... "Are you okay?" That makes it worse. :( Shame on top of embarrassment on top of social anxiety.

Now, I mentally tell myself when I'm in a group, "Don't Choke!" :roflmao: Don't even get me started on what can happen at a dinner party!

How funny Muzikluvr because I do the same thing! It's like you swallow your saliva the wrong way-super embarassing!:x3:
There must have been something in the air over the weekend- I cut myself with a knife on Sunday and gouged my finger with an almost non-existant finger nail today. Talk about self-abuse.

Seriously though I dissociate and get clumsy and do these things when I am not fully present or paying attention. This stuff gets my attention and fast! The sight of blood will do that I guess.

I've done that too. One day I didn't want to make dinner, I was dissociative-ish... whatever I was. Most of my mind was engaged in processing a trauma, I was feeling sleepy as I usually do when I'm emotionally drained... and I tried to get the tape off the back of a new knife. I ended up pulling the blade across my open palm and filleting it open. It was very interesting to see the white bubbles... like fat pockets or something... not sure. Blood? Yeah. Scared daughter? You bet. Drove myself to the hospital and was there for quite some time waiting for someone to stitch it up. Now it just looks like another crease on the palm of my hand. :)

I felt really stupid about it, and didn't want to tell anyone just how idiotic I'd been. On the positive side, those knives were just as sharp as the commercial said they'd be! :roflmao:

I nominate Bear for this one. My favorite was when he dropped his hand down on the table saw and shattered two fingers. (They couldn't splint- they just sort of mushed them back together and hoped for the best.)

He's also sliced his hand open with a carpet knife, slashed himself cutting bagels, and fallen down flights of steps doing flips. He has an interesting set of scars where he punched through a window, and another set on his chest where one of his cats got loose on a trip to the vet and started running laps around his body.

He had two bloody smash-ups on his motor bike that involved me picking gravel out of body parts. And I have SEEN the man cut his hand open with a hammer and nail, yell for someone to toss him a roll of duct tape, DUCT TAPE himself back together, and go on working. :O_o:

Oddly enough, considering how tough he is, he's a fainter. Can't stand the sight of his own blood or something. Which is probably why he duct-taped his hand. He didn't want to get faint and fall off the roof!

I have a sofa that I swear moves that fraction of an inch some days,
 HA! My furniture moves too! Now if I could keep Big Girl from moving so much!

Angel2, I have been known to go through whole sets of glassware, it's horrible. I use those jar glasses and even with those I'm down to 1. The pups love when I'm in the kitchen because it means something is going to be dropped ;).

So lets see today so far I have managed to jam my finger , I hope thats all it is:eek: I accomplished this by changing the kitty litter. How i don't know? Managed to miss the cupboard by mere mm. Oh what a day brings.
