No, my undergrad university, if I get s job there, won’t require me to have a car. But nowhere in this state had public transportation, really. Except the capital, which has taxis and a few buses that don’t leave the capital. One city near me has buses that go to the capital, and one that goes to the capitol, but that’s about it. My city’s got nothing. And the bike lanes are scary tiny, I’ve firgured out.
I’ll have to pay off student loans soon too. I’m looking at $200 a month on one of them if I can’t get the interest down. By the time I’m done with grad, though, it’ll be a lot higher. That’s the part making me uncertain about moving out. They make you sign a clause for those that you have to pay the debt even if you go bankrupt or don’t have a job. I hope they’re more forgiving to people who call in. Getting a job will help. But I’m nervous about moving out until then.
I did the calendar thing for another event. Worked well.
The thing I think is making me saddest is that Sandy was really responsive, and then when I tried to get my mom involved, she just quit answering. No explanation. I went from being a charity project to a hassle.
