I’m between you if you ignore that you two are in the future (can you tell me the lottery numbers?), but if we look at dates, then I’m stuck in the last! Because it’s already tomorrow the 6th for @bellbird (FIREWORKS ARE DONE I HOPE??) but for @Sietz it’s about dinner time on the 5th! And for me it’s noon on the 5th, so it’s time for me to wake up my dog for outdoor time

Global climate change happened and the National Weather service sent messages to our phones this morning warning us about being in the “enhanced risk” of bad weather for the next 24 hours despite it NOT BEING SPRING. So that’s lovely, nice noise to wake up to

They probably mean flooding but I’m in the upperland forest with a 300-year-old oak exactly two feet from my window because it’s bad luck to cut down an oak that’s older than you, so hopefully the wind doesn’t want bad luck :)

That’s where all the loud noises are coming from — it’s droppinv acorns with the intensity of a hail storm. Good times

One time my dad “shot” (everyone was okay!) my little bro and mom with fireworks! I haven’t really liked them much since then, but I’ll go to shows. I like to sit up front where I can’t have Nestle because the boom is terrifying, and then I’m uncomfortable but also enjoying colors. I have no idea why i do that to myself :D

Currently it’s beautiful outside, because the storm is still forming West? Clear skies except for some low cirrus! So hopefully it’ll just be windy, because it doesn’t look like it has all the ingredients to form anything crazy (on the radar)

Unfortunately my mom had us f*cking out in it despite being in a hurry?? She was in such a hurry that she was cussing at things and getting embarrassingly mad at machines in public. I was in a good mood and trying to be both helpful and help her be mindful but she finally snapped at me saying that if I were in a hurry I would be as mad at her — which was weird, since I was the one politely reminding her that I didn’t want to drive in a massive ass downpour... pretty sure I was in a hurry. And able to control my own emotions anyway. But okie doke.

She was late to work though, so I didn’t say anything, but it was not my fault we were late. Who insists on grocery shopping on a 3pm lunch break and then expect it to take under ten minutes.... o.O

Sorry, I’m just annoyed. She’s been annoying me a lot.

I wish English had a phrase for when someone is annoying you, but in a way where they aren’t doing it on purpose.

I think I’m mad about her not calling Susan but whatever. I will tell her that I will schedule dates if she doesn’t.

I feel a lot of pressure to move out, and I still want to, but I’m not sure I can. Money. My sister’s husband’s mom told me her kids’ horror stories and reminded me that my mom isn’t charging me rent and is buying my food. I’m think of those months away where I was barely eating.

My dog also got hurt because of this because I tried to rush inside because the stupid storm had already arrived, and she tripped on her own bad leg :( she ran in the house after that, though.

We try to make storms fun. She‘s okay with most of them, unless they’re at night or the house moves.
