Poll Comorbid Ptsd And Dissociation

After reading a few threads and feeling a lot less alone, I am wondering how many members here also suffer from a dissociative disorder?

If you do, I also wonder who has what as far as dissociative disorders go?

I figure it would be good to tick a box and find others who have dissociative problems as well as PTSD.

Dissociation was my main coping mechanism for years. I had the mindset while medicated that, "it didn't happen to me, it happened to someone else." allowing me distance from the trauma.

I checked all four. I no longer have DID.
