Thankyou everyone for your thoughts and wishes and well just being here :D
This is sooooooo true. One of the big things Team AOTL are drilling into me is that Its Not My Fault. Yet part of me wants it to have been and holds onto it - as if it was my fault then I had that small measure of control. Apparently that is a common thing for children who have been abused. Which makes it easier for the abuser to get away with it...
Anyhooo back to the main point, I think offering thoughts on threads are good so long as they are honest thoughts of 'ooo this may help' or 'wanting to let them know I am here and I hear them'. I think if you have to sit and think up something random to say, or it has already been said 10 times, it is better not to say anything at all (a like or two will let people know someone else is there and agrees). That is the rules I have set for myself on these forums anyways :p
For me I guess I like to feel I have some (little tiny????) at least measure of control... Silly me, when so clearly I am Along For The Ride.
